About Us
The Campaign for the Preservation of Mission San Antonio de Padua Foundation is a 501 (c)3 organization formed in 2010 to fund the retrofit repair and the preservation of the structural integrity of the historic and beloved mission.
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Foundation is to solicit and accept funds for the purposes of the conservation, restoration and preservation of the historic Mission San Antonio de Padua, located in Jolan, California.
Vision Statement
Our Goal is to ensure funding to fulfill our mission and provide for the ongoing conservation for Mission San Antonio. Plans include but are not limited to:
- Further restoration and continued maintenance of Mission property, structures, and artifacts.
- Restore the historical viticultural environment in partnership with candidate universities and additional educational entities.
- Continuation of Archeological research in partnership with designated universities through Archeological Field Schools.
- Assisting the Parish of Mission San Antonio de Padua in providing present and future generations opportunities to learn about California Mission history and the Native American history for this site.
- Providing a simple, safe and comfortable Retreat Center to people of all faiths. . . a place to rejuvenate "body and soul" in a beautiful, serene, natural, historic setting.
The funding is critical to support these and other historically-linked activities, while ensuring the restoration work already accomplished is maintained into the future.
