The Campaign for the Preservation of Mission San Antonio Board of Directors was excited to share in the summer newsletter the milestone of $2.25 million dollars has been raised!  What a wonderful accomplishment!  It was also exciting to learn from the newly selected construction company the estimate for Phase I work has been lowered to $3 million dollars, so we are almost to our goal. Also in this newsletter, we step back in time and share the history of early attempts to rebuild the Mission in the 1900s and some famous people who were on the San Antonio de Padua Mission Foundation in 1949.  Sturdy Oil Company is in our donor circle in this edition of the newsletter.  Enjoy and as always, thank you for your support for our campaign!
